Good workI'm really impressed, never thought there could be such a great customer service in the industry of web hosting. I had a chat with their sales team before signing up, they were really informative and pleasant to talk to. Now when I'm signed in for dedicated hosting I found out their support team is as much helpful and pleasant. Good work!
I once made a mistake.
I was signed up for InMotion hosting few years ago. Once upon a time I've got an email that my site was using too much memory and cpu. I decided they were forcing me to purchase their VPS hosting. So I quit. It was a huge mistake. When my site had similar issues at other hosts these other hosts just shut me down and never even tried to help me troubleshoot at all, it took them weeks to answer my emails. I moved back to InMotion. I have VPS program now and my site runs beautifully.
BlueHost
A very good hosting hereI've got over 30 sites and more than a half is hosted with BlueHost. Their support team has proven to be helpful, knowledgeable and I think they really care about their customers. I use two more webhosts and BlueHost is my favorite at the time. I have much less problems with them than with others.
They keep their promises
when I signed up with BlueHost I had a sudden call from their staff asking me if I had everything working OK, and it was really pleasant to have that call. It shows that they take care of their customers. They really do. I never had my uptime more than they promised, and everything works like Swiss watch. Isn't it great when a company keeps its promises? I think it is.

It's not for small businessI experienced too much downtime with this hosting provider. Every time I am awaiting important e-mails it's down. My clients are expecting responses for hours. How can I run my business like this? It looks unprofessional. I don't know, maybe it's my bad luck or something, maybe no one else is having such problems... Anyhow, I'm going to quit.

Very bad supportThe features and the hosting itself is fine, but customer support is awful. They take forever to answer support tickets, and even longer to iron the problems out. I have experienced numerous occasions when the servers have been down. I've been waiting for two weeks for them to solve a minor problem. Imagine what amount of time I'll have to wait if there is a major issue. If you need any kind of customer support, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Great offer for the money
It's a very high quality and cheap hosting. You get almost everything you can imagine. 300 GB is very much space, 3 TB traffic not unlimited but still it's very good. You get one free domain. You also get FTP accounts, 100 MySQL and 100 PortageSQL databases, and support of every programming language and SSH access. You've got a 24/7 tech support. The best cheap hosting as for me.

DisappointingI have been with Globat hosting company for 10 months. At the very beginning I was pretty contented, there was nothing more to be desired. Quick setup, fast servers, good uptime. But after some time I faced really unpleasant issues. First and foremost - they double charged me. I could not get my money back till now. None of my repeated emails have ever been unanswered, and when I speak to someone by phone I am promised refunds and investigations and then never hear from them again. And the tech support appeared to be just as bad. They seem to know nothing at all. Great disappointment.
It's cheap, you get what you pay for
I have been a Globat customer for ages. At the beginning they were just great, nothing more I could ever hope for. Fast connection, no downtime at all. But as time passed page-loading times got slower and slower, and periodic downtime. Several support tickets later they moved me to a less crowded server. But I'v got more problems recently. My email, FTP, and site hosting are all down from time to time. Besides, there is an ongoing issue I'm experiencing, I sent tickets hundred times already, they remain unanswered and my problems unresolved.
Yahoo
Great Customer ServiceI have been with Yahoo Hosting for about 3 years now. My site is always up, I've never experienced any downtime. They are very helpful when I call in for assistance. Everyone I have spoken with has been friendly and knowledgeable. Yahoo is the best hosting company! Really reliable and trustworthy.
Not so unlimited…
Yahoo offers “unlimited” space and bandwidth etc… but after certain level you get a “disk space error” message on the ftp client. Then you contact their tech support and they say that they will increase your disk space, but nothing ever gets done. So, “unlimited” isn’t really unlimited at all.
Dot5hosting
Poor webhostAfter I purchased web space and a domain name, my site was not available for over 3 weeks. They would not respond to emails or phone calls. Finally I did get to them on their chat line just to discover that they know absolutely nothing. I changed my webhost.
Low quality
I've been a customer of Dot5hosting for few years already, I was quite pleased with their service until I had to migrate my account. After the migration more than half of my files were missing and all pages that fetch data from database are so slow that it is impossible to use them. I have been reporting same issue over a month and they always respond that the problem will be solved in 24-48 hours. I will change my hosting provider as soon as I get the files that they forgot to migrate to new the platform back.
Lunarpages
AwesomeI've been hosting several sites though Lunarpages for a number of years and have had very few problems. There have been few outages but I merely noticed them. And the one support question I asked was responded to on the phone in less than 10 hours. I recommend Lunarpages to everyone who's in need of a good and cheap webhost to run their small business with.
Fine job
We'v been running our small business website with this hosting provider for a bit more than a year. There has not been a single glitch. There's a great support staff, very professional and pleasant people to work with. When I started I new completely nothing, they walked me through it all. A great webhost for newbies as well as for professionals.
GoDaddy
So far very goodI have had GoDaddy for over a year and a half now. Haven't had any major problems, except for one time they messed up on my billing, but I got that fixed. I own a music site, so I need space, and speed, and bandwidth. And I get it all with GoDaddy. The download speeds are great,there is rarely anytime when my site is down. GoDaddy is very reliable.
Worth the money
Godaddy is my first webhost and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Great uptime, wonderful customer service which is quite quick to respond and fix the issues. Comfortable control panel. I can't imagine a better webhost for myself. It's a great and reliable host with a great reputation. Worth the money.
PowWeb
Too many outagesI've been with PowWeb for more than 4 years now. I have two web sites and a forum hosted with them. during this time I have seen my web sites disappear and my mail access cut off many times with no explanation at all. They do not announce outages. Usually these only last for a few hours. But I once had this really unpleasant experience, when it has been nearly 24 hours with no web sites or forum, and no e-mail. Outages happen too often with this hosting provider, but that final outage was the last straw. I’ve changed my webhost.
Tech support is nonexistent
Powweb has the most clueless tech support I ever dealt with. You submit a trouble ticket, or initiate a chat session to ask for a professional help, and what you get is a person responding is absolutely clueless about any technical aspects of the system. I had a ticket going for few weeks and they never fixed the issue, they didn't tell when the problem might be fixed, and after awhile, they just stopped responding or updating the trouble ticket. I think it’s totally unprofessional approach for a web hosting company that is on top of the ratings.
