I've been hosting several sites though Lunarpages for a number of years and have had very few problems. There have been few outages but I merely noticed them. And the one support question I asked was responded to on the phone in less than 10 hours. I recommend Lunarpages to everyone who's in need of a good and cheap webhost to run their small business with. We'v been running our small business website with this hosting provider for a bit more than a year. There has not been a single glitch. There's a great support staff, very professional and pleasant people to work with. When I started I new completely nothing, they walked me through it all. A great webhost for newbies as well as for professionals. I faced several severe issues with Lunarpages during these few years I've been using their servers.
1. The tech support was terrible. It's slow in responding and rarely helpful.
2. Website goes down too frequently.
3. My fried to whom I recommended Lunarpages had his account terminated after 2 months without notice of any kind.
I think it's not a good webhost at all. I've been using Lunarpages servers for two years. I don’t remember my sites ever being down in all that time. Not even once. And customer support is just so very great! They sometimes respond within an hour. Isn't it what a really good support should be? Their prices are very reasonable. Good uptime and great support, it's fantastic for such money. Their only drawback to my mind is that their plans don’t allow as many addon domains as some of their competitors do.
